WHY Southeast Asia?

TRAVEL ADVENTURE
I travel not just to see and experience the world, but to remind myself what I miss most home.  There is nothing quite like a trip to an exotic land makes me cherish those very things I take for granted in everyday life.

WHEN TRAVEL BECOMES A YAWN
Backpacking through Europe, once a staple of the young traveler in search of adventure, has become way to passé.  Europe is too familiar and too similar to home.  Taking a trip through Europe no longer elicits that grip of adventure in your stomach.

FAR FLUNG LANDS
Southeast Asia, however, remains high on the adventure list.  It is still on the backpacker trail because of its cheap cost (once you get there, of course) but boutique hotels, restaurants, and a budding tourist infrastructure have opened up these destinations to tourists seeking a little more comfort than a tent or a cell in a hostel.

Whatever your pleasure, you can now find it among the multitude of option available to travelers in this far off place.

Of course, if you're going to come all this way, you must throw in a quick jaunt down to Australia -- after all, who can resist this continent-nation and all its sights and charms?
